The election results for the past three levies indicate a gradual increase in support, from 29% in Fall 2023 to 40% in Fall 2024. To achieve a majority approval, the district must focus on enhancing community engagement and transparency. This can be accomplished through targeted outreach, clear communication of the levy’s impact, and building trust with taxpayers. To further inform this approach, I developed two community surveys to gain insights into the reasons behind no votes and understand what factors could encourage more voters to support the levy.
