The semester 2 project will count as 20% of your second semester grade. Please choose one of the three options below and upload the completed assignment in Teams (option 2 may be submitted on paper).

Option 1: Microsoft Access – Forms and Reports

Using the Microsoft Access database called Student Registration in Teams, create the forms and reports detailed below.

1. Create a form called frmStudent will display the student’s ID, first and last name of the student, major code, advisor code and credits. Format the font and colors to your liking and add a button to Add New Student. Pick up the packet on my bookshelf in the classroom for instructions and screenshots.
2. Create a report called rptAdvisorList that will display the first and last name of the student, his/her major and the first and last name of his/her advisor. The report should be grouped by AdvisorID and sorted alphabetically by advisor last name, then sorted alphabetically by student last name. Option 2: Careers in the Business World

Gain insights into the requirements and benefits of specific accounting, data management, finance, human resources, information technology, international business, marketing, and operations management job openings to enhance understanding and preparation for a career in the field via these eight career research assignments. Collect the packet on the bookshelf in my classroom if you’d like to complete this project.

Option 3: The Product Liability Debate

Create an essay (500 word minimum) in a Word document. Whether you agree or disagree, explain why with supporting evidence and concepts from the readings or a related experience. Include a reference, link, or citation when appropriate. Collect the instructions from the bookshelf in my classroom if you’d like to complete this project.
